Which is better - Too Much or Too Little?

So last night I went out and got a little lifted.
A couple friends and I went back to my house and played a little pool and had a few drinks.
We got onto the topic of if it were better to have too much or too little of something.

At first I thought I'd rather have too much! I mean think about it. I'd rather have too much money rather than too little; too much time rather than too little; 3 testicles rather than 1.
That is the sort of thinking that our society follows (minus the last part. that might just be me).
The more someone has, the better things are, right?

But I suppose that it is only really in a wealth sense that someone would want too much. For example. I'd rather have too little herpes rather than too much. (although I think having any herpes is too much herpes).

And then the thought about having too little or too much time came up again. Would you rather have too much time? Or too little? Having too much time sucks the pleasure out of life. In a sick, odd sort of a way, the fact that life is eventually ending makes things that happen more significant. However, it allows a person to spend more time with friends and family, and to experience all that they want to in life.

This post got a bit too serious. I think I'm going to get high.

Working

hello there fellow bloggers.

I hope you all had a pleasent Valentines Day weekend.
Oh Valentines Day. Such a stupid idea to base a day upon.
And this is coming from someone with a girlfriend. Not one of those "I HATE VALENTINES DAY BECAUSE I'M SINGLE AND LONELY" reasons.
I mean. Having a girlfriend makes me broke already without having an extra day dedicated to it.

Anyways. The weekend wasn't completely terrible. I stayed over at the girlfriend's place, and had a good time. I deduced that there are so many things that are better naked. For example, Mario Party. Clothed, its lots of fun. Add nakedness, and its so much better. However, not so much for things like freestyling, bobsledding, and cross-country skiing.

Friday the 13th.

Friday the 13th. Such an auspicious day, is it not?

Both 13 and Friday the 13th have been surrounded with mystery and superstition for centuries.

How ridiculous are such notions that a certain day of the week and a certain number can be related to evil and superstition?

Lets look at the number 13 first. Tall buildings skip floor 13 on their floor number recording.

Such a sneaky trick! The karmatic superstition gods that monitor such things would definatley be fooled by such a head-fake.

Honestly, most people who find 13 to be unlucky have no real reasoning for this, except for the fact that they hear other people say it is, and perpetuate it even more. 13 is said to be unlucky because of the Mayan Calandar taking us to 13.0.0.0.0 on December 21, 2012, and because of the lunar cycle, and all other nonsense.

If you ask me, 13 is a great number. For example, if it were unlucky, then 13 on House wouldn't be Olivia Wilde:

But hey, maybe I'm wrong, and because my blog started on Friday the 13th, it will spontaneously combust.

An Introduction

Hello there,

My name is Chesterfield McIverson. No. It is not made up.

Internet deceivery, which may or may not be a word, would just be a terrible thing to do.

I'd never do anything like that.

Anyways. I'm a 21 year old student from somewhere in Canada.

I go to a University. I do alright in my classes.

I have a good group of friends, and an awesome girlfriend.

My family's pretty chillin too.

Anyways, the subject matter of my blogging will vary from day to day, but you can expect to see my high thoughts, my opinions on "relevent" subject matter, and I'll talk about music, movies, books, etc.

I hope you enjoy my blog!
